From the moment I arrived to set up my easel, it was clear this day was going to be something special.

How Kaitlyn & Arthur's Story Began

Every great love story has an unexpected beginning, and this one started with a single photo. Kaitlyn first noticed Arthur through a picture shared by mutual friends on social media — she was in Hawaii at the time, and something about him stuck with her. She eventually reached out, and the rest, as they say, is history. Fittingly, the two got engaged in Hawaii a year later, bringing their story full circle in the place where it all began.

How I Became a Part of Their Day

Kaitlyn actually found me on Instagram first, but our paths crossed again in person when she came across me painting live at an open house at Chateau de Lis. That chance encounter sealed the deal, and I couldn't have been more excited to be part of their celebration.

This was a summer wedding, but it felt worlds away from your typical breezy, outdoor summer affair. Everyone in attendance was dressed to the nines in black tie, and the entire day carried an air of old-world elegance — think castle turrets, candlelight, and guests who looked like they'd stepped out of a period film. But underneath all that grandeur was pure, unfiltered emotion. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Guests were crying, laughing, and soaking in every regal, loving moment. And Kaitlyn? Absolutely stunning — every bit the bride you'd imagine gracing the halls of a chateau.

Kaitlyn and Arthur chose a black-tie dress code for their wedding party and guests, and the result was pure sophistication.
